TYNE

“To become lost; to perish”

At the shoreline constructed elements both impose, merge, are consumed and destroyed by the natural environment. These elements are structural and defined, and are subject to the same forces as the fluctuating natural environment.

Everything is ultimately ephemeral and transient.

These images are made along the lower reaches of the river Tyne in North East England. They are from a large body of ongoing work involving moving image, the written work and still imagery.
