LIGHT SUBMERGED – Digital video and glass installation.
Images of water edited into a continuous display are projected onto a two-meter square sheet of glass suspended by steel wires four meters in the air. The imagery recorded at the mouth of the river Tyne is seductive, tranquil and mesmeric. By contrast the installation conveys a feeling of fragility and danger along with an odd unfeasibility. Shown at Lovebytes Digital Arts Festival Sheffield and internet distribution.
